Scotch Shortbread Cookies

1 cup butter

1/2 cup sugar

2 Cups flour

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

Either roll out dough and use cookie cutters or use a cookie press.  When using cookie press bake 11 minutes at 325 degrees.  For thin ribbons cook at 300 degrees for 8 minutes.  If rolling out dough adjust cooking time to thickness.
